Curriculum Vitae:

Dagmar Kern studied Media Informatics (Diploma) at the University of Munich. During her studies she worked on a project about protoyping ubicomp games for older people at the University of Sussex, UK for 3 months. In October 2006 she completed her diploma thesis at the BMW Group Reseach & Development in Munich (Topic: Improving in-car telecommunication through status- und context information). Her thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Albrecht Schmidt, Prof. Dr. Klaus Bengler and Dr. Michael Pitz. After her studies she worked as a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Intelligent Analysis and Information Systems in St. Augustin. From October 2007 to May 2011 she worked as a research associate and PhD student at the Chair for Pervasive Computing and User Interface Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Since June 2011 she works as a HMI developer for Bertrandt Ingenieurbüro Gmbh at Ford Motor Company in Cologne.
